Lagerfeld's 1983 Classic Flap was built on top of it, but the 2.55 Reissue is the purist's choice: the Mademoiselle lock instead of the CC turn-lock, the aged calfskin with its distinctive distressed texture, and the burgundy lining that references the colour of Chanel's school uniform.
